If you’ve been dreaming of exploring Tanzania’s remote wonders, now is the perfect time. For new trips departing before the end of October 2025 and using some key selected camps, you can now take advantage of free internal flights between Arusha and Katavi or Mahale in western Tanzania, as well as between Dar es Salaam and Ruaha or Nyerere National Parks in the south. These complimentary flights can save you up to £1,460 / $1,890 per person, making it easier than ever to experience Tanzania’s most secluded corners.

Choose from two distinct adventures – or design your own

You can take advantage of this offer on our 9-day Chimpanzee Fly-in Safari to western Tanzania, or our 8-day Spotted Hyena Fly-in Safari to southern Tanzania.

Or add this offer to a tailor-made private itinerary that fits your style, pace, and interests.

9-day Chimpanzee Fly-in Safari (Western Tanzania)

Greystoke Mahale on the shore of Lake Tanganyika

Venture to Katavi and Mahale on our Chimpanzee Fly-in Safari to experience some of Tanzania’s wildest landscapes, and most remote national parks.

At Chada Camp in Katavi National Park, enjoy the thrills of night drives or walking safaris, and consider sleeping out under the stars on a fly-camping excursion. You’ll enjoy the remote and isolated feel to Katavi, where there are usually more lions than visitors in its rugged woodlands and plains!

Next, journey on to the Mahale Mountains to stay at the one-of-a-kind Greystoke Mahale, set on a beach on the shores of Lake Tanganyika. Here you’ll trek in search of a community of 60 habituated chimpanzees – a once-in-a-lifetime primate encounter.

We have just updated the prices of our Chimpanzee Fly-in Safari to incorporate this complimentary flight offer. So this trip is now available from £8,780 / $11,350 per person sharing – saving £1,400 / $1,810 from the usual rate of £10,180 / $13,160 per person sharing.

If you’d like us to tailor-make your own itinerary using these free flights, keep in mind that these Katavi and Mahale flights only run on Mondays and Thursdays.

8-day Spotted Hyena Fly-in Safari (Southern Tanzania)

Sunset at Kigelia in Ruaha

Immerse yourself in two legendary parks – Ruaha and Nyerere on our Spotted Hyena Fly-in Safari – for a striking contrast in scenery, wildlife, and atmosphere.

Stay at Sand Rivers Camp in Nyerere National Park, perched above the Rufiji River, for thrilling game drives, guided walking safaris, and the option to spend a night fly-camping beneath a canopy of stars.

Then head to Kigelia in Ruaha, a traditional tented camp offering game drives across wide-open plains, rolling hills, and one of Tanzania’s most dramatic landscapes.

We have just updated the prices of our Spotted Hyena Fly-in Safari to incorporate this complimentary flight offer. So this trip is now available from £4,690 / $6,064 per person sharing – saving you £1,470 / $1,901 from the usual rate of £6,160 / $7,965 per person sharing.
